Okay, show of hands, who remembers the American Sammy NES game Arkista's Ring?... Oh, yikes. Well, it's a fun litle time-waster if you still have a good ol' NES. Any rate, here's a doodle of the game's heroine, colored with Prsimacolor pencils rather than my now-normal computer-coloring... I don't remember when I did this or why, but I like it. (If memory serves correctly, Arkista's Ring was the first NES game to my recollection that used anime-style box art... at the time, most American games came out with some pretty goofy-looking box art that didn't match the game graphics at all... that may be why this game stuck in my memory for so long. The fact that she's easy on the eyes kinda helped too.) |
